Sunday nights are now BYOB nights at Firecreek Restaurant. They’ve also added new wines to their regular menu, and offer different pairings each night to go with their specials. Firecreek’s sister restaurant, Doghouse Burgers has also added some new items to their menu, and they’re offering free fries with any burger or hotdog on Mondays, and two for one burgers and dogs on Tuesdays.

Amani, the new restaurant where Fioravanti used to be, is already open. Amazingly, they managed to turn the space around in just two weeks! Like Fioravanti, they are a BYOB, but they also have a limited drink menu for cocktails. The layout is the same as Fioravanti, but the menu and decor are different. The focus is on seasonal, farm-fresh food, with produce from local farms. As a nice little decor touch, there were fresh flowers on every table. As far as I can tell, they don’t have a website yet, but given how close they are to Green Street, I would recommend walking over and checking them out. Their food is very tasty!

As you may have noticed, Fioravanti Restaurant is - sadly - no more. However, it looks like there’s already another restaurant set to take its place, and Downingtown certainly isn’t lacking for new dining options. Firecreek Restaurant is going full-swing, and they just added a happy hour and a new lunch menu. Also, as of June, Doghouse Gourmet Burgers (right beside Firecreek) is officially open for business.
